Customizing the Chat Widget



The chat widget is a floating support button on your website that lets customers search your KB and chat with AI.

Accessing Widget Settings



Go to Admin → Widget Builder or Dashboard → Settings → Widget.

Branding Options



  • •Accent Color — match your brand (default: #6C63FF)
  • •Bot Name — the AI assistant's display name
  • •Welcome Message — first message customers see
  • •Company Logo — appears at the top of the widget


    • Behavior Settings



  • •Chat Enabled — toggle the chat functionality
  • •Show Powered By — toggle "Powered by Suhep" footer
  • •Quick Actions — predefined buttons for common questions
  • •Business Hours — display hours in the widget


    • Response Templates



    Configure default responses for:
  • •Pricing questions
  • •Setup help
  • •Billing inquiries
  • •Contact requests
  • •General fallback


    • Preview



    Widget Builder currently gives you a visual preview of the intended widget appearance. Treat it as a draft check, not proof that live widget settings are already saved or deployed on your website — verify the embed separately after publishing your real configuration.
